In 2008 Sara founded Imprint Architecture and Design, LLC in Seattle, WA with the goal of creating meaningful, engaging, voluminous architecture that is of its time and also timeless. In 2000 Sara graduated from the University of Minnesota receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Architecture and Art History. She then headed west where she and Jeremy enjoyed the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest for over 15 years. Now, re-established in Minnesota, her designs are imbued with the lasting imprint of that region's architecture and surrounding landscapes.
Sara’s experience encompasses not only residential architecture but a wide variety of projects including libraries, galleries, and various LEED accredited single and multifamily homes. Sara enjoys the intimacy of each design along with the individuality of each client, working closely together to tailor quality spaces that enhance their daily lives. JEREMY IMHOFF, AIA

Earning a Bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota in 1999 and then a Master's Degree from the University of Washington in 2003, Jeremy's broad range of prolific work includes single family residences including both of his homes in Seattle, WA and Stillwater, MN; both published in various print articles. He has designed multi-family residential buildings, schools, commercial buildings, and various cultural projects. Jeremy's architectural focus is a detail-orientated approach to each building, thoughtfully considering how these details work together to create an holistic architecturally meaningful design. Jeremy is a natural artist and carpenter and in his spare time he is constantly improving his craft.
Prior to Partnership with Imprint Architecture and Design, Jeremy worked for Sundberg Kennedy Ly-Au Young Architects, Jones and Jones Architects & Landscape Architects and Cutler Andersen Architects; all Seattle based firms.

NICHOLAS HOLZER
Architectural Designer
Nicholas brings a fun and engaging energy to Imprint Architecture and Design. Combined with a witty, dry sense of humor, he is constantly keeping us on our toes ~ and in stiches! Nicholas, a North Dakota native, received his Master’s Degree in Architecture in 2019 from North Dakota State University where he also immersed himself into a variety of biology and art classes. After graduation, Nicholas packed up his bike and futon and headed west to Seattle where he had been residing for the past five years. Now, newly relocated to the Twin Cities, you might find him cooking extravagant meals with his wife in St. Paul or adventuring with his Great Dane, Goose, while listening to Willie Nelson and Marty Robbins. Also an artist, he spends his spare time with paints and canvases ~ or really anything he can get his hands on. We are hoping to see an art show / installation from him in the near future.
While in Seattle, Nicholas recently worked at the award-winning Olson Kundig Architecture firm designing high end residential homes and villas around the world. He has also worked on a wide variety of project types from local education to high rise corporate and retail. He is always searching for the simplest and most elegant solution.
