The owners purchased this existing home with big plans - a whole house remodel that included a "lift". They started by gutting the entire home down to the studs, then lifted the main floor off its foundation to give the existing 6'-6" lower walk-out level taller ceilings to complete a whole house feel. The main floor received a new vaulted ceiling and skylights along with a new staircase down to the newly open lower level. The homeowners sourced most the products themselves keeping costs down and making their dream home a reality.
